There is a great importance for every DeKalb County resident to become a registered voter and a consistent voter. Local elected officials do pay attention to voting figures, especially to those that indicate a consistent pattern of voting in local elections. If you are not a registered voter you may become one by registering at the Voter Registration Office at

• 4380 Memorial Drive (in the County Government Complex across from the County Jail).
• You can also register to vote at all DeKalb County Library Branches.

If you wish to voice your opinion on an issue on which all commissioners will vote, you should contact all the commissioners, not just those in Districts 1, 2, and 6 who currently represent DECA residents.
